Terms

Terms, risk notice, privacy notice, and WhatsApp delivery rules.

These terms govern use of the VisionBoard website, checkout flow, account system, paid subscription records, and WhatsApp alert delivery. By creating an account or paying for access, you agree to these terms.

Service description

VisionBoard provides SEC filing alerts and market research context, including tiered Form 4 insider activity notifications, public filing links, technical context, fundamentals, news snippets, and AI-assisted summaries. Alert previews marked with an asterisk use fictional tickers, companies, filings, and supporting data for product illustration only.

Accounts and WhatsApp number

You must provide a valid email address and WhatsApp number when signing up. Your WhatsApp number is used to deliver your package alerts, manage subscriptions, and support operational notices about your subscription. You are responsible for keeping your account login details secure.

Subscriptions and payments

Access is sold per package on a monthly or annual basis. PayFast processes payments, recurring billing, renewals, and cancellations. VisionBoard maintains subscription records with start and end dates so alert delivery can be activated, renewed, suspended, or stopped accurately.

Prices may change for new purchases. Unless otherwise stated during checkout, annual subscriptions are billed upfront and monthly subscriptions renew monthly. Any annual saving is calculated against 12 monthly payments at the price displayed when you subscribe.

No investment advice

VisionBoard is not a broker, exchange, investment adviser, financial planner, or trading signal service. Alerts are provided for information and research only. Nothing on the website or in WhatsApp messages is a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, short, or otherwise trade any security or financial instrument.

Trading risk

Securities trading involves risk, including possible loss of capital. Insider activity can be useful research context, but it does not guarantee future price movement. You are responsible for your own due diligence and trading decisions.

Public filing sources and data accuracy

SEC filings are public records. VisionBoard may enrich alerts with company descriptions, market data, analyst targets, news, technical context, fundamentals, scores, and AI-assisted summaries, but the original filing remains the source of truth. These enrichment fields depend on configured public and third-party sources and are not guaranteed to appear in every alert. The availability, performance, and downtime of third-party data sources are outside VisionBoard's control. VisionBoard will at all times use reasonable best efforts to keep its data-source integrations operational, monitor failures, and restore or replace disrupted connections when practicable. Data may still be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, interpreted incorrectly, or contain errors, and continuous availability cannot be guaranteed.

Monitoring cadence and recent-activity filters

VisionBoard is currently configured to check official SEC filing data approximately every five minutes. Routine alerts screen filings from the latest three business days and require a reportable transaction from the latest two business days. Checks, enrichment, and WhatsApp delivery can take longer because of SEC availability, rate limits, data-provider response times, maintenance, or outages. VisionBoard does not guarantee that every eligible filing will be detected or delivered within a specific time.

Private WhatsApp delivery and POPIA notice

VisionBoard uses the WhatsApp number on your profile to deliver package-specific alerts directly to you. By subscribing, you consent to receiving service messages and operational notices at that number while your access is active.

  • Alerts are sent privately rather than through a subscriber group.
  • Other VisionBoard subscribers are not given your number or profile details.
  • You must provide an accurate number linked to an active WhatsApp account.
  • You must keep the registered number current and able to receive WhatsApp messages.
  • You may not share, resell, republish, or automate redistribution of paid alerts.

Activation can take several minutes. Invalid, unregistered, blocked, or restricted numbers may require correction or support before delivery can begin. WhatsApp availability and delivery are controlled partly by a third-party platform and cannot be guaranteed.

For South African POPIA purposes, your WhatsApp number and account details are personal information. VisionBoard processes this information to provide paid access, manage subscriptions, deliver alerts, prevent unauthorised access, and communicate service notices. WhatsApp/Meta may process information under its own terms and privacy policies.

Privacy and communications

We may use your email address and WhatsApp number for account, billing, security, subscription, alert delivery, and service communications. We do not need to sell your personal information to operate this service. You may request correction or deletion of personal information, subject to legal, fraud-prevention, billing, and audit requirements.

Acceptable use

You may not resell access, copy alerts into competing services, attempt to receive paid alerts without an active subscription, disrupt the service, reverse engineer the system, abuse support channels, or use the service unlawfully.

Availability and changes

VisionBoard may change packages, pricing, data providers, alert formatting, structure, or delivery channels. We aim for timely alerts but do not guarantee uninterrupted service, specific delivery times, or error-free output.

Refunds and cancellation

Cancelling automatic renewal stops future recurring charges but does not, by itself, reverse a payment already completed. If no refund is approved, cancelled subscription access continues until the end of the current paid period.

A member may request a full refund of their first-ever paid VisionBoard subscription within seven calendar days after the payment date. This introductory refund applies once per person, payment identity, and household or business, and does not reset when a new account, package, or payment method is used. VisionBoard may refuse or reduce a refund where there is evidence of fraud, abuse, chargeback activity, material redistribution of paid alerts, or a payment that has already been refunded or reversed.

After the seven-day introductory period, the maximum refundable amount for an annual subscription is the original annual amount paid minus the package's monthly list price at the time of purchase for each started subscription month. The first subscription month starts on the payment date and each later month starts on the corresponding monthly anniversary. The result cannot be less than zero or exceed the remaining unrefunded amount of the original payment. The two additional access months included with annual pricing do not create a separate refundable value. In formula form: maximum annual refund = annual amount paid - (purchase-time monthly price x started months).

Monthly subscription charges are non-refundable after the applicable subscription month has started, except under the seven-day introductory policy, for an approved duplicate or erroneous charge, for a material service failure, or where applicable law requires a different outcome. VisionBoard may approve an appropriate full or partial refund outside the standard calculation when a duplicate billing error, extended service failure, or another substantiated circumstance justifies it.

Members must submit refund requests from the Billing page. A request is not a completed refund and remains subject to verification against the payment record, prior refunds, account activity, fraud and abuse controls, these terms, applicable consumer law, and payment-provider rules. VisionBoard may request further information before making a decision.

Approved refunds are processed through PayFast against the original payment and are recorded in the member billing history. PayFast processes and settles VisionBoard transactions in ZAR even when VisionBoard displays package prices in USD. Exchange-rate movements, card-issuer conversion charges, and the time taken by PayFast, a card network, or the receiving bank to reflect the refund are outside VisionBoard's control. A refund cannot exceed the original payment or the remaining unrefunded balance.

When a full or material refund is completed, VisionBoard may end the related subscription immediately, cancel future renewal, and stop the associated WhatsApp delivery. If a partial refund is approved, the refund decision will state whether access continues or ends. The decision and any access change will be shown in the member area and communicated by email.

Cancellation reasons, refund reasons, review notes, payment references, provider refund references, approval decisions, and status history may be retained for customer support, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute handling, and legal compliance. This section does not limit any non-waivable rights available under applicable consumer law.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, VisionBoard is not liable for trading losses, missed alerts, delayed alerts, data errors, WhatsApp delivery issues, third-party outages, or decisions made using the service.
